We are pleased to announce that the Defense Innovation Research Institute (VIKI) and SAAB are offering a scholarship program for students at Obuda University for the year 2026, with a focus on dual-use applications of XR (extended reality) and AI (artificial intelligence).

As part of the joint research collaboration between the Defense Innovation Research Institute (VIKI) and SAAB, and in connection with the TECHDEF 2025 event program, student research topics will be heard and selected on December 10, 2025.

The aim of the scholarship is for the selected students to complete a specific development task or a study on the chosen topic during the project period. The specific research content will be finalized after the hearing by the supervisor (VIKI) and the SAAB delegate.

Active MSc and PhD students can apply for the scholarship, regardless of their field of study or year of study. You will receive information about the exact application requirements, the technical details of the application, the application deadline, and the evaluation process after submitting your preliminary application.

Tisztelt Hallgatók!

Tisztelettel értesítjük Önöket, hogy a Védelmi Innovációs Kutatóintézet (VIKI) és a SAAB az Óbudai Egyetem hallgatói számára ösztöndíjprogramot hirdet a 2026-os évre, kiemelt XR (kiterjesztett valóság) és AI (mesterséges intelligencia) kettős felhasználású alkalmazások területén.

A Védelmi Innovációs Kutatóintézet (VIKI) és a SAAB közös kutatási együttműködésének keretében, a DEFTECH 2025 rendezvény programjához kapcsolódóan, 2025. december 10-én kerül sor a hallgatói kutatási témák meghallgatására és kiválasztására.

Az ösztöndíj célja, hogy a kiválasztott hallgatók a projektidőszak alatt egy konkrét fejlesztési feladatot vagy tanulmányt készítsenek a választott témában. A konkrét kutatási tartalom a meghallgatást követően, a témavezető (VIKI) és a SAAB delegált szakembere közösen véglegesítik.

A pályázatra aktív MSc és PhD hallgató jelentkezhet, függetlenül szakiránytól vagy évfolyamtól. A pontos jelentkezési feltételekről, a pályázat szakmai részleteiről, a pályázat határidejéről és az elbírálás részleteiről az előzetes jelentkezés után kapnak tájékoztatást.
