Dear Students,

We are pleased to share that the Mexican Government’s Excellence Scholarship Program (Becas de Excelencia) is now open to Hungarian students wishing to pursue higher education in Mexico.

This prestigious program, coordinated by the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), provides funding for full-time, in-person academic studies at Mexican higher education institutions. Scholarships are available for undergraduate and master’s mobility (for a period of up to 12 months), full master’s degree programs (for up to 24 months), as well as doctoral and postdoctoral research stays (ranging from 3 to 12 months).

Selected candidates will receive monthly financial support, visa issuance fee exemption, and international as well as domestic travel support.

The application must be submitted in Spanish via the official digital platform, SIGCA, no later than September 12, 2025. Required documents must be uploaded in PDF format, following the instructions outlined in the official call. The SIGCA application portal can be accessed at https://sigca.sre.gob.mx/login.
